W zasadzie mialam pokazac obiecane spodnie, no nie? Nawet sciagnelam fotki na bloga, ale wyszlo inaczej. Spodnie opublikuje kiedy indziej.
Dzis - dopiero co wyschniety i zblokowany Swallowtail. Ma byc prezentem dla mojej tesciowej, ktora to zapatrzyla sie okrutnie w Laminarie, do tego stopnia ze by najchetniej ja zacharapcila. Baczylam totez na Laminarie jak na zrenice oka ... Tesciowej podobala sie tez bardzo wloczka, z ktorej Laminaria jest ududlana, a ze mialam calkiem spora resztke, postanowilam zrobic chuste i dla niej. Tydzien temu wpadlo mi na mys, ze chusta taka swietnie nadaje sie na prezent podchoinkowy. Co prawda watpilam czy zdolam uporac sie z robota do Wigilii, ale sprobowac bylo warto. Zdecydowalam sie na Swallowtail Shawl, ktory jest mniej wloczkozerny od Laminarii. Chusta powstala w tempie zaskakujacym, robienie jej zajelo mi tydzien (glownie w pociagu, ale troche tez i pomiedzy jazdami do i z pracy). Mam nadzieje ze sie spodoba.
Eigentlich wollte ich Euch endlich die versprochene Hose zeigen. Ich habe sogar die Fotos hochgeladen... Aber es kam anders. Urplötzlich habe ich mich entschieden doch noch gestrickte Weihnachtsgeschenke zu machen. Na ja - einen Geschenk - für meine Schwiegermutter. Sie hat sich regelrecht in meine Laminaria verguckt. Ich war aber nicht bereit das Tuch ihr abzugeben (manchmal kann ich doch ekelhaft egoistisch sein). Den Rest der Wolle hatte ich aber noch und kürzlich fiel mir ein, ich konnte doch ein Tuch für meine Schwiegermutter stricken. Ich entschied mich für Swallowtail. Es war eine gute Entscheidung, glaube ich, die Wolle hat knapp gereicht (ich musste auf 4 letzten Reihen verzichten). Vor allem aber bin ich unglaublich schnell fertig geworden - hätte ich nie gedacht dass das bei einem Lace-Projekt möglich ist. Heute ist es fertig geworden (nur 1 Woche hat es gedauert, bei mir totale Ausnahme).
Jetzt hoffe ich dass es gefallen wird ...
Actually I was to show you the trousers I sewed weeks ago ... I have uploaded the photos already. But it came other way ... I decided to knit one (at least) Christmas present - for my mother in law. She was so thrilled by my Laminaria, she'd be happy to have it too. She was also loving the color of the yarn. I've had some leftovers, not sure if it would be enough for another Laminaria, I decided to knit Swallowtail Shawl. I had to omit lats 4 rows as I was running out of yarn, but I like the result. I hope my mother in law likes it too... Surprisingly, it was a very fast knit, although I am not so experienced in lace works ...
